Algerian club USM Algiers had a training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium ahead of the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final clash against Nigeria’s Rivers United on Sunday in Uyo.
The team arrived in Nigeria without five key players who will miss the match due to injury.
The quintet of Oussamma Chita, Salim Boukhenchouche, Ismail Belkacemi, Brahim Benzaza, and captain Zinedine Belaid will miss the game due to injury.
The USMA contingent arrived in Uyo for the game on Friday afternoon.
Sunday’s encounter will kick off at 2 pm local time.
The reverse fixture will be held next Sunday in Algiers.
