Former Nigeria international Odion Jude Ighalo was the star performer in Al Wehdah’s resounding win over the visiting Al Khaleej.
The former Manchester United forward opened the scoring in the 3rd minute before Fabio Martins leveled for Al Khaleej in the 22nd minute from the spot.
Ighalo restored his team lead in the 58th minute before completing his hat-trick in the 80th minute with a well-taken spot kick that sealed the game 3-1.
The former Watford strike has become a household name in the Saudi Arabia Pro League, since his arrival, as he has emerged as the top scorer for Al Shabab and Al Hilal SC.
